Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Egglington Discord bot ("Egglington", "the bot", "we"). By inviting Egglington to a server or otherwise using it, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if you are an admin adding the bot, on behalf of that server.

Using the bot

• Egglington is provided "as is", free of charge, for moderation, economy/leveling, Roblox & Minecraft lookups, tickets, and member verification.
• You must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times while using Egglington.
• You may not use Egglington to violate any law, harass or abuse other users, distribute malware, spam, or attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or overload the bot's infrastructure.
• Server admins are responsible for how the bot's commands are configured and used within their own server (e.g. moderation actions, economy settings, ticket categories).

Virtual economy

EggCoins, shop items, and any other in-bot virtual currency or item have no real-world monetary value, cannot be purchased, sold, or exchanged for real money, and exist solely for entertainment within Discord. We may reset, adjust, or remove virtual balances or items at any time without notice or compensation.

Availability

We do not guarantee that Egglington will be available at all times, free of bugs, or unaffected by Discord API changes, outages, or maintenance. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

Data

What data Egglington stores and how it's used is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Termination

We may block a user or remove Egglington's access to a server at our discretion if these Terms are violated. A server can remove the bot at any time via Discord's own server settings.

Liability

Egglington is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, data loss, or disputes arising from use of the bot, including actions taken by server staff using the bot's moderation or administrative features.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Egglington after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
